Our chef Sébastien Cogné has built his menu based on traditional French cuisine, using local seasonal produce. This winter we propose hearty dishes, straight from our wood fired ovens. Fresh game such as Venison and Guinea Fowl sit alongside more traditional fare such as Lamb Shank and whole roasted fresh fish. Entrées stay lighter with seafood being offered alongside homemade terrines. Desserts are homemade from the icecream and sorbet through to our delicious wood oven baked Tarte Tatin. We use only the freshest ingredients and always seasonal. Come and enjoy a drink by our fire while you watch the Chef in action, preparing sumptuous dishes to warm you through the winter.
Menu prices vary from around 10€ for an entrée, 18€ for a main…and set menu’s starting at 22€. We can also offer personally tailored menus for private functions of 15 or more…
Our extensive winelist covers the best wine growing regions in France, with the extra addition of New World wines from New Zealand, Australia and California. With our wine list changing to take in new and better vintages and include more foreign wines, we aim to offer a wine match with our principal dishes. This means a range of wines by the glass which we aim to change regularly to allow our customers to try something new. Keep an eye on our blackboards for the wine updates….
Reflecting our wine list, we also offer a comprehensive array of beers from around the world. Including a selection from New Zealand and Australia, plus the usual suspects from Belgium, Germany etc… Alongside this we offer a full range of soft drinks, juices and mineral waters plus a selection of excellent aperitifs and digestifs.
The Auberge welcomes you …. days a week for lunch from midday and dinner from 7pm. However if you fancy a coffee in the morning or something to warm you up in the cool evenings, don’t hesitate to knock on our door!
